The Geology group came together in 2008 and since then we have been teaching ourselves geology with the help of "Understanding Geology" by David Webster, contributions from group members and occasional visits from outside speakers. Some members of the group have studied geology previously but many have not. We welcome new members and are happy to advise on background reading which will benefit those new to the subject.
